You may be well versed with the health benefits of eating breakfast every day, but there's much more to it. If you like to sip on some OJ while munching scrumptious bagels, then you need to stop. Yup, drinking packaged juices is not such a good idea as they have higher calorie and sugar count than natural fruit juices. Just avoid concentrate and say hello to more natural options. Or maybe just stick to eating the fruit rather than drinking it.

Now, this one is a common misconception. Most people think that cereal is a really healthy breakfast choice, but that's not the case. Most cereals are loaded with salt and sugar. In fact, they contain empty calories, which cause you to eat more than one serving to feel full. So, unless you are buying low-fat cereal, don't assume you are eating healthy.

You should probably keep it simple and just stick to whole grain toast or cereal.

You might be eating healthy but if you fail to watch your potion size you are in big trouble.
Ladies, forget shedding weight, you will in all certainty add a few kilos instead. It really doesn't matter if your breakfast consists of items that are no-fat and whole-grain, if you don't scale it down. Mainly because you are consuming calories and larger portions only mean more of it. And that's not going to help you lose weight.
